The Branch Faculty of the University of Zielona Góra in Sulechów was transformed from the  State Higher Vocational School in Sulechów (established in 1998).

The interdisciplinary process of education at the Faculty combines science, business and practice.  

All of the offered fields of study have been created jointly with employers, tailored to meet their needs and as such reflect the labour market needs.

 

What distinguishes the process of education at the Branch Faculty in Sulechów is its practical aspect. Close co-operation with business, industry and administration is an essential element of gaining knowledge, as is the programme of internships (min. 3-month-long, adapted to both the market needs and students' interests).

The Faculty educates:

• future business owners, who are aware of the specific nature, the prospects, business opportunities, market behaviour and mechanisms of functioning in various branches. as well as have specialist qualifications.
• entrepreneurs, who can follow through the process of implementation from conception to realization, function in business and local government environment, and are skilled at co-operating, negotiating and  decision-making.
• engineers, who keep up to date with the latest technologies.

 

The excellent sports facilities, comfortable dormitories, social facilities and financial support  enable the Branch Faculty's students to fully develop their abilities.

Why is it worth studying at the Branch Faculty of the University of Zielona Góra in Sulechów (till 01.09.2017 known as  the  State Higher Vocational School in Sulechów)?

Because lectures and classes are conducted by highly-qualified and experienced teaching staff and practitioners in an area. The Faculty holds regular meetings with leading representatives of particular business sectors and some classes are conducted in firms, where students gain practical and organizational knowledge. The Faculty's internship programme is adapted to  companies' real needs and problems, which frequently finds its reflection in students' diploma papers and subsequent employment offers. The Faculty also offers modern laboratory facilities.
